About Me
“Use the ripples that disturb the peacefulness in your life to push you into a life you never dreamed of.” - Melissa Lindsey
Hi, I’m Melissa Lindsey. I live in a small town in western Kentucky. My favorite space on earth is my back patio in the afternoon; watching the sunset while writing, reading a good book, or talking about the day's events with my husband.
The last few years have been the hardest of my life. My story would take too much time to tell here, but I know the agony of watching a child go through a life-changing event in her marriage, losing faith, and battling my own depression.
I've learned, though, that God does not waste pain. He will grow you through it if you allow it, and he can use the ripples that disturb the peacefulness in your life to push you into a life you never dreamed of.
Our children are grown, and my husband and I are now empty-nested, but while some may think of these days as close to retirement and slowing down, that is not my intent! I'm building a new and improved purpose-filled life, and I encourage you to do the same.
